project life 2013 : week 16

Week of :  April 15 - April 21.

It's week sixteen and I still absolutely love this project.

This is the left side of my album.  I love the fact that I was able to incorporate a filler card "This is Life" from the project life kit because I didn't take a lot of photos this week.

Another favorite thing I love to do is add journaling right on top of photos.

That shot of Callie was taken at her school with my cell phone and processed using the Instagram app..  When going thru her backpack at the end of the day, I found a story she had written.  I copied the story onto one of the 3x4 cards that is included in the Project Life kit.

Callie had a doctors appointment and I wanted to incorporate some of these shots too.  I cropped all of these photos down to 4x4 and slipped them into a Becky Higgins Project Life page protector Design I.  I also have the digital version of the Seafoam Kit.  The "This is Life" card was opened up in photoshop and resized to 4x4 then printed on white card stock.

I also added an e-mail into this spread.  I just opened up the e-mail in photoshop and resized to 4x4.  Super easy and I love how it turned out.

This is the right side of my album.  I didn't have a whole lot of photos this week, so I slipped in another filler card "this is what life looks like" filler card from the kit.  The "PS I Love You" is a stamp from Elise Blaha.

Added text to another journal card that comes in the kit.  Super excited to start growing food and herbs in our soon-to-be-garden.  Again... I love keeping my spreads super simple.  I don't like adding a lot of embellishments.  Keeping it simple is how I manage to make this work for me.

project life 2013: week 15

It's week 15 and I really love this project.

Week of:  April 8 - April 14.

Project Life is a memory keeping system created by Becky Higgins.  I also use the Seafoam Core Edition Core Edition  I use photos, text and stuff to document our daily life.  This is the left side of the album.

The right side of the album.  I love adding letter stickers directly onto photos.  I picked these up at Michael's.  The "good times" embellishment I ordered online from Freckled Fawn.

I had more photos to incorporate into this weeks spread, so I used one of Becky's Higgins "Design H" page protectors.  This is the front side.

And this is the back side.  That "for the record" stamp is from Elise Blaha's stamp shop.  Project Life can be anything you want it to be.  I like to keep it super simple.  This will be my place where I share my weekly updates.  I have been using this system for over 2 years now and I'm absolutely in love with it.
