SIX MONTHS OF ONE SECOND VIDEOS.
Today, I'm marking six months of capturing one second videos everyday. That's three minutes and nine seconds of video recorded so far.
If you follow me on Instagram, you've heard me pledge my love to this about a zillion times already. Seriously a total game changer for me when it comes to documenting the everyday.
The app I'm using and loving so far is called the: 1 Second Everyday.
Capturing a second everyday is super easy as long as I'm not over-thinking the process.

OUR 3 DAY NEWPORT, ORE ADVENTURE CAPTURED IN 140 SECONDS.
I'm totally hooked on this form of documentation and if you follow me on Instagram, you've heard me pledge my love to this about a million times already.
On our way to Newport with Callie's 5th grade class, I knew I wanted a video keepsake and this app was the perfect solution. I selected "1 SE Freestyle" instead of the "1 SE timeline."
Enjoy!

THE STORY OF YESTERDAY.
Yesterday was busy but I made sure to allow some time for play.
First off, Callie started seeing a speech pathologist/autism specialist last week. The week before it was just a meet and greet appointment. Yesterday was the first official 45 minute session. I really like this women and I'm optimistic I'll see a lot of growth in her before she starts middle school in the Fall. Callie bonded with her immediately and I'm so excited for this new chapter in her life to begin.
After her speech appointment, which will run from 8:45 - 9:30 every Wednesday, I'm pretty sure we'll make it a habit to grab a coffee for me & a vanilla bean smoothie for her before I take her back to school. I think I'll make it a habit to snap a shot of her in my side mirror.
Dropped McKenzie's lunch off at the high school because she forgot it this morning.
Picked up some groceries at the store.
Back home to re-heat coffee that I didn't finish from this morning.
Got tired of coffee & heated a kettle of water to brew some tea.
Made some pizza dough. I love making home made pizza and I have a goal to make at least 30 different kids before the end of summer.
Balanced the check book & smiled when I wasn't off.
Worked on my Project Life album.
Washed laundry & changed the sheets on our bed.
Went out to the garden and marveled in all the new growth.
Said "hi" to the rollie pollies Callie has a small mason jar. She's feeding them carrots because she thinks they like them.
Made a new pizza: mazza & provolone cheese, pepperoni, black olives, chives, pizza sauce. Side dish was broccoli. Matt said it was one of my best pizzas yet & so now I'm making it my mission to start planning for next weeks pizza.
Watched the season finale of Criminal Minds. Looks like next season is going to be all about catching 13 serial killers. WOW! It's going to be good.
Read a little before lights out. I'm currently reading Night Shade by John Saul.

MY GARDEN PHOTO BOOK.
Have I mentioned that I've been wanting to grow a garden. Have I mentioned that my wonderful husband made that dream come true three years ago. And I'm sure you are aware I am obsessed with taking photos of our backyard garden.
I knew I wanted to make a photo book out of all the photos I took. I'm not kidding, when I say I took over a hundred photos. And it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Blurb photos book. They do a fantastic job and their quality is beyond fantastic.
So, last week when they e-mailed me a 40% off coupon, I knew it was time to finally finish this book that has been sitting in my online shopping cart. They have a variety of different size books you can choose from, but I'm a creature of habit and love their 7x7 Blurb photo book size. And their templates make it super simple to drop in all those photos I have. My book is 64 pages and I love it.
Our garden journey started with that lumber in the back of Mr. M's truck and of course Miss C. our garden project supervisor.
The kale made for the most delicious green smoothies.
And some of these tomatoes I prepped and froze so I could make spaghetti sauce.
This is the back cover of the book. The photo represents some of the many cherry tomatoes I consumed.

ALWAYS + SOMETIMES + NEVER.
I always:
+ cut my apples into slices.
+ almost always have my hair in a pony tail.
+ put things in my online shopping cart.
+ have my toe nails polished.
+ arrive at work 15 minutes early.
+ have my kitchen clean before I go to bed.
+ wear my favorite sandals on my days off.
+ wish for less clutter.
I sometimes:
+ actually purchase things in my shopping cart.
+ go overboard with Clorox wipes.
+ don't have my camera when the perfect photo represents itself.
+ think I would get by without Instagram.
+ think I would be crazy to get rid of Instagram.
+ have all my laundry washed & put away.
+ panic that eventually it will be Winter again.
I never:
+ want to go to bed angry.
+ go outside without sunscreen on my face.
+ am late for work.
+ get tired of our summer garden.
+ paint my finger nails.
+ forget to balance the checkbook.
+ go to bed without having read for at least 20 minutes.

LAST NIGHT I...
1. Had my bedroom window open &
2. Listened to the rain.
3. Read a little more of this book. I'm 100 pages in and so far it's just o.k. I've read a few of his books and this one is taking me longer to get hooked on.
4. And drank hot tea.
