HAPPY EASTER.

Happy Easter.  In our house, we hunt for chocolate.  Hope your holiday is as low key as ours.

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN.

This is what happened today & I'm super excited for another growing season.  It's still to cold for other veggies but for now, it's ok to plant Walla Walla's, Broccoli & Brussel Sprouts.

Adding a little chicken manure to the soil.

A LITTLE POLAROID MINI ALBUM FOR THE WIN.

Yesterday I decided to document my day in Polaroids.  I used this Polaroid app and it was well worth the $1.99 spent compared to some $100 ones I've seen on Amazon.  I think these little beauties  have gone up in price since they've been manufactured.

So, this morning I wanted to make something with the 17 shots I printed out and came up with this little mini.  The front and back are the only pages I laminated.  It was definitely a labor of love.

note:  I saw one similar on this site and new it would work perfect for this project.

THIS GIRL ATE A HOLE IN MY POCKET BOOK.

Evidence I took a teenage girl shopping today.  Our time together was worth every penny.

HELLO SPRING!

Today marks the first day of Spring.  Loving the extra daylight hours and the opportunity to spend more time outdoors.

I've got the next 6 days off from work and I've got a lot on my to-do list to accomplish.

And to kick things off, I think I'm going to make pancakes for everyone and a large pot of coffee for me.

DE-CLUTTER MCKENZIE'S ROOM.

Getting ready to de-clutter McKenzie's bedroom.  We'll starting this project on Monday & I can't wait.   We'll be moving hopefully in the near future & we desperately need to purge a lot of stuff  from her room (and that goes for the rest of our home.)

We're completely emptying everything out of her room.  That includes every clothing article hanging in her closet, emptying every drawer, shelf and stripping her bed to cleaning her blinds and taking down the curtains she doesn't want anymore.

Clothes that don't fit her anymore and are still in good condition we'll save for Callie.
This girl wants to go shopping and I want to reward her with some new Spring/Summer clothes when "operation de-clutter" is complete.

I'll definitely take some before & after shots and maybe some photos of the two of us cleaning/purging away.

It'll sure feel good to get this done.
