WEEK IN THE LIFE / TUESDAY.

TUESDAY : alarm wakes me up @ 5:40.  heat water in kettle.  take shower.  callie’s up at 6:00.  add coffee grounds to french press.  callie puts 2 frozen waffles in toaster.  i finish getting ready in the bathroom.  pour coffee.  mckenzie’s up at 6:20.  fix myself a bowl of cereal.  drop mckenzie off at the bus stop.  read some blogs on my computer.  leave house at 7:30 for callie’s 8am appointment with dr. koutnik.  matt and i take separate cars because i have errands to run after callie’s appointment.  take callie back to school.  sign her in at office.  get coffee at human bean drive-thru.  drive to medford for 11:00 therapy appointment.  talk with therapist about my grandmother’s death.  i’m feeling better.  drive to kid-to-kid to pick up $10 cash for my consignment yesterday.  went to access to donate a cane and phone that belogned to my grandmother.  order lunch at panda express and eat it in my car.  donate a wig that belonged to my mother-in-law to the american cancer society.  drive to talent post office.  back home at 2:15pm.  open mail.  download photos from yesterday onto my computer.  mckenzie calls me at 4pm because her stomach hurts.  pick her up.  she misses track practice.  matt picks callie up from the bus stop.  back home.  callie’s snacking on cheese puffs and playing with her nintendo d.s..  walk out to garden.  matt’s planting more veggies.  back inside and editing photos for this book.  callie’s using my computer to work on a homework assignment.  make large salad.  heat up 1 chicken patti for callie, and veggi patti’s for the rest of us.  callie gets tablet time before bed.  matt’s on the couch watching t.v..  take shower.  read in bed.  lights out at 10:40.

WEEK IN THE LIFE / MONDAY.

MONDAY : alarm wakes me up @ 5:40.  heat up water in kettle.  take shower.  callie’s up at 6am.  make coffee in french press.  make callie’s lunch.  callie fixes a couple frozen waffles for breakfast.  she eats them plain.  mckenzie’s up at 6:40.  she snacks on some cardamom bread i made yesterday and an apple.  drop callie off at bus stop at 6:55 (she usually has speech on monday’s in medford but her teacher called in sick).  back at house finishing coffee.  mckenzie is making her lunch.  unload dishwasher from last night.  mckenzie finishes getting ready for school while i sit on couch and watch the local news.  matt’s still in bed.  leave house at 7:30.  drop mckenzie off at ashland hospital for her internship  (she’s doing a pharmacy rotation today).  drive down road to human bean for coffee.  back at hospital reading a dean koontz book; hideaway while she finishes her 1 1/2 hour long rotation.  mckenzie’s done at 9:30.  take her back to school.  stop by bank to cash a check.  drive to medford to take a box of 4-5T clothes i found in our shed to a consignment store.  picked up mail at our talent post office and received two condolense cards for my grandmother’s passing last tuesday.  i’m back at home at 11:20.  matt’s working in the garage.  heat up left overs from last night (ham, pineapple and bell peppers) for a snack.  found a few frames to take to goodwill.  leave house at 12:20 with matt.  visit goodwill.  stop by his mom’s talent house (that’s currently up for sale) to pick up a few items to be donated.  went to restore in medford to drop of donations.  went back to talent house to get stuff for a dump run (that’s for another day).  back to ashland.  eat lunch at a mexican restaurant.  stop at the ashland grange for plants and manuer.  head for home at 4pm.  bus drops callie off at 4:30.  callie plays with her guinea pig, brownie outside.  she has her wrapped in a towel and placed inside her bike basket.  she rides her around.  leave for house at 5:35 to pick up mckenzie from track practice at ashland high school.  back at home.  matt’s planting lettuce, broccoli and walla walla onions in our garden beds.  callie’s still playing with her guinea pig.  matt feeds brownie a piece of lettuce while callie holds her. she devours it.  head inside house to relax and watch an old episode of criminal minds.  mckenzie has my lunch left-overs from today (chicken tostada) for dinner.  callie has some peaches and chicken taquitos.  mckenzie makes a delicious large salad we all enjoy.  callie gets tucked in bed around 9pm.  lights out for me at 9:40.

HAPPY SUNDAY.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.  We've been pretty lazy around here with the exception of Mr. M doing the grocery shopping and picking up a few plant starters at the Grange and potentially selling his mom's (she passed away 1 1/2 years ago) Talent home. We are so ready for this chapter of our lives to end.  I'm starting to heal emotionally after loosing my beautiful grandmother last Tuesday.  She was 95.  My 17 year old daughter became a legal licensed driver and the weather warmed up enough so I could bring this gals bike out of our storage shed.  My to-do list is growing and I'm thinking of embarking on a new week long photo project that I'll start tomorrow.  I'm super excited about this.  I'll be taking long deep breaths as I start crossing things off my list.  I'm READY!!
