It's week 27 and I still really love this project.

Week of : July 1 - July 7.
What happened this week? I worked on a craft project. Watching our first bell pepper grow on one of our plants in the garden. Went to our local water park. Took Callie swimming at our community pool for the first time this summer. Went to the Ashland 4th of July parade. Matt worked on a drip system for our garden. Had a fabulous BBQ with some awesome friends.
Techniques this week: I had two 12x12 photos printed at Costco and then trimmed it to fit in the pockets. Left an empty space to add a journal card on each end. Sometimes two big photos can say so much more than seven small ones. Super easy and super fun. I was inspired by Elise Blaha and I knew that this week would be the perfect week for this.
Overall thoughts: Love this spread. Love that I finally had an event in 2013 worthy of these two full page photos. Love that it's done and in the books. Hooray for simplicity!
Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. I use photos, text and stuff to document our life weekly. I am currently using the Seafoam edition of Project Life.
My name is Libbi. I live in a small town called Ashland, Oregon with my husband and two daughter's. I love to swim and go on long walks. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoy my little space on the Internet.

3 bean bake.
- 1/4 lb. bacon cooked and cut in small pieces
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or ground chicken cooked
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 2 Tab. vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)
- 1 Tab. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
Beans I use:
- 1 large can pork-n-beans
- 1 large can kidney beans
- 1 large can baked beans
Note: The original recipe called for 1 can of lima beans but I'm not a fan of these.
How you put it all together: Put all the above ingredients and canned beans into a crock-pot and simmer on low heat all day.
Enjoy!
